At ISS, training is built around ensuring that students can identify, mitigate, and communicate hazards. In addition to classroom regulatory training, ISS takes a hands-on approach to education. Practical applications are designed to ensure that students can apply the classroom to the worksite. ISS practical training involves actors in a scripted scenario and real-world conditions to imitate challenges on various worksites: land or offshore.
